What is a HTA37R you ask?
If you want HTA technology in your DSM footprint with a 80+lb/min flow rate? Want BB with that? Stop looking because you just found it.
This variant of the FP30 is truly the bottom of the well, end of the rope and max possible power in a DSM footprint. Featuring the advanced 88mm HTA compressor section flowing over 80lb/min and capable of 45psi with good dependability and performance. Hotside is the familiar 9cm^2-.68 A/R SS casting which houses the high flowing GT350 turbine wheel. Unlike the smaller FP30 turbos, this turbo has the larger T4Z ball bearing CHRA. In addition to gaining strength and durability as a result of this larger bearing housing, you need to know that a T4 flanged oil drain tube is now required. Oil inlet threads are still 7/16 -24 inverted flair fitting, so that is the same as the smaller FP30's.
The FP88HTA (HTA37R) uses a T4S 4" Anti-Surge ported inlet and 2.5" outlet compressor housing while full compatibility with O2 housings from smaller FP30's is retained.
All of our tubular manifold turbo kits come standard with the .63 a/r turbine housing. If a different turbine housing is desired please specifiy at the time of placing an order. |
